1. Purpose
To define acceptable and secure use of company-issued mobile communication devices
during field deployments to ensure continuity of operations and safeguard
sensitive data.
2. Scope
Applies to all staff using smartphones, tablets, and satellite phones issued by
Deployed Resources.
3. Policy
- Devices
must be used for official communications only.
- All
communication apps must be pre-approved by IT Security.
- Connecting
to unsecured public Wi-Fi is prohibited.
- Device
encryption must remain enabled at all times.
- Report
lost/stolen devices immediately to the IT Help Desk.
4. Enforcement
Violations may result in disciplinary action, including revocation of device
privileges and termination.

(MFA).
Step-by-Step: VPN Setup
- Install
Cisco AnyConnect using the approved software portal.
- Launch
the application and enter VPN server address: vpn.deployedresources.com
- Enter
your Active Directory (AD) username and password.
- You
will be prompted for a second authentication via Duo.
Step-by-Step: Duo Enrollment
- Visit:
https://enroll.duosecurity.com
- Choose
your device type (phone recommended).
- Scan
QR code using Duo app.
- Confirm
device registration.
Training Tip: Ensure all mobile devices are updated
to the latest OS version before enrollment.
